Top Takeaways from RPNA Board Meeting (8/18))

The RPNA held its Board meeting on 8/18. Key takeaways are as follows:

  • The Board approved a paid position at the rate of $200 per edition to coordinate the RP Review and ensure sufficient high-quality articles are included in each edition.  A post/e-mail will be sent later this week for details for anyone interested.
  • The Neighborhood Improvement Committee’s survey on public safety produced 113 responses so far, indicating 50% would be willing to pay some amount for off-duty Sacramento police officers to increase patrols in the neighborhood.  The survey also yielded 15 new volunteers for Neighborhood Patrol.  We are updating the description of the neighborhood patrol program and will be sending that soon and posting it on the RPNA website.  If you still want to take the survey, it is located here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeXH8qtD8f2Ow5ax8z6ouyilS60iz16SuDQXjUQTyO4tfp3ng/viewform

Our next board meeting is 9/15 at 7:30pm via Zoom.  All residents are welcome to join, and we will distribute an agenda in advance with instructions for how to join.
