Dear RPNA Members,
We hope this message finds you well. The RPNA Board of Directors is proposing an addition to our bylaws to include a new section regarding sponsorship eligibility. This addition aims to expand the range of businesses eligible to sponsor RPNA events and initiatives.
Proposed Addition: The RPNA designates the following areas as eligible for business sponsorship:
- Northern Boundary: G Street
- Southern Boundary: J Street
- Eastern Boundary: 57th Street (between J Street and G Street)
- Western Boundary: El Dorado Way
This proposed addition will be voted on at the October 17th board meeting, which will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Fremont Presbyterian Church.

Curious why boundaries do not include/to:
-Folsom Boulevard
-Alahambra
…so many businesses if after business sponsorships (advertising)
Coffee shops, grocery stores, homegoods/kitchenware, services, etc.

The board had a lot of discussions about this regarding “how far ‘outside’ of RP we should go” and this was the happy medium we came to. More advertisements and sponsors are wonderful but also come with more commitment from the RPNA board members and resources that we may not have the capacity to provide.
However this will be a great jumping off point of expanding our little communities exposure.
