River Park Garden Club’s “Special Garden Spaces” Tour

River Park Garden Club’s “Special Garden Spaces” is right around the corner!

Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Friendly koi in a pond among fruit trees, succulents, perennials and garden sculpture, and a made-in-the-shade garden with an artist’s retreat, summer outdoor living spaces and specimen Japanese maples, are just two of the six very personal gardens that will be open on “Special Garden Spaces,” the River Park Garden Club’s fourth annual neighborhood garden tour.

The self-guided tour, Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will present six diverse neighborhood backyard gardens. Tickets are $5 per person. Children under 15, free. (Please note: No strollers allowed in gardens.)

Tickets may be purchased on the day of the tour, beginning at 9:45 a.m. at the ticket table in front of Caleb-Greenwood School, 5457 Carlson, but may be reserved ahead by calling 916-454-5637.

In addition to the tour, a Master Gardener will be on hand to answer visitors’ gardening questions from 11 a.m. to Noon and an artists’ boutique will feature garden-oriented art and crafts. For more information, go to: http://www.riverparkgardenclub@yolasite.com
