Top Takeaways from RPNA Board Meeting (5/21)

The RPNA Board met successfully via Zoom on 5/21; key takeaways are as follows:

  • CM Harris reported that his office had received complaints about drivers speeding on the streets where water meter project detours are occurring. The contractor has been directed to place additional signs reminding drivers to drive slowly, and there will be additional police patrol to the extent possible.
  • Pops In The Park will be taking place online this year.  Jackie Greene, June 6 at 530pm.  More information at 
  • The Tree Canopy Committee will not be conducting its annual planting planting at residences this year.  Instead they are looking at other areas of focus in 2020 and will plan for the planting in 2021.
  • The RPNA is working with interested residents to help promote a car parade to honor this year’s students who are promoting/graduating. It will be Saturday 6/13 at 930am. We will distribute more details, including a map, prior to the event.
